Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Mind won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling.
No-one should have to face a mental health problem alone. Mind will listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.
Every year over 50,000 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate, testicular and penile cancer. Of these men over 47,000 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, over 2,400 will be diagnosed with testicular cancer and over 630 will be diagnosed with the rare penile cancer. Sadly, these numbers are increasing. Orchid is the UK’s leading charity working on behalf of anyone affected by or interested in male cancer – prostate, testicular and penile cancer. Established in 1996 by testicular cancer patient, Colin Osborne MBE and the oncologist who saved his life, Professor Tim Oliver, Orchid exists to save men’s lives from male cancer through a range of support services, education and awareness campaigns and a pioneering research programme.
Matthew will be taking part in the Best Western Hotels & Macmillan Ride Of Their Lives on Saturday 16th June 2018. Right from the moment you’re diagnosed with cancer, through your treatment and beyond, Macmillan are a source of support, giving you the energy and inspiration to help you feel more like yourself. Macmillan’s ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same.
